Not sure if it will be once a month or what, it will depend on my progress at getting my head and photos together.

It is true (now that you mention it) that my mother looks "normal," the pictures do suggest that, but she was actually more bohemian, eccentric, and interesting than I will ever be. It's her story that needs to be put in a book.Blueberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17357299403457746440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12694343.post-79689307138352188782009-03-13T20:57:00.000-05:002009-03-13T20:57:00.000-05:00How cuuuuuute! Definitely consider publishing a memoir of this time--say, everything you recall up to I dunno, say, age 13?
What's really cool is the "normal-ness" of the lovely mom, the military dad, and the "shared" grass-hula-skirt.
It looks like you were fortunate to have such a loving home/childhood.
I am sorry your parents and relatives have passed on.
It's great, though, that there's this whole"blogging community" to share pics/memories with, yes?
You might enjoy the "Open Salon" blog community over at, uh, salon. com.
I read your bio--you may want to know that there are a lot of atheists/liberals/etc. over at salon, and it's a very inclusive atmosphere for all.
Peace, woman.
btw, I found you by seeing one of ur comments at WeezieLou's blog.
www.lisananetteallender.blogspot.comLisa Nanette Allenderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15263158091013515471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12694343.post-2514266098536679752009-03-13T09:08:00.000-05:002009-03-13T09:08:00.000-05:00I do remember a few things from a really early age...I do remember a few things from a really early age where normally they are forgotten (just a few). Timelines are sometimes fuzzy, but I have been attempting to piece my life together with letters and photos. By the time I was 4 (in this Chapter) I had moved at least 6 times, bag and baggage. My parents and most of my aunts and uncles are dead, and I am an only child so it's a difficult puzzle. A challenge!

What's helping me is that my mother was a packrat and my dad loved taking pictures and processing them himself in the photo labs on base.Blueberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17357299403457746440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12694343.post-530970734755458492009-03-12T21:48:00.000-05:002009-03-12T21:48:00.000-05:00Extraordinary. It's amazing not only that you have the photo chronicle but that you actuall remember some of these events. You ought seriously to consider putting these in a book. You had more adventures by the time you were 5 than most of us will have in our lifetimes.Mando Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08086172912612587749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12694343.post-50980181135799594272009-03-12T16:21:00.000-05:002009-03-12T16:21:00.000-05:00You were certainly loved a lot - I do not have as ...You were certainly loved a lot - I do not have as many photos of me as a kid, and certainly not in a mumu or grass skirt.

Totally cool post, love seeing old photos.Jannie Funsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11595786402510366043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12694343.post-31849788059932854142009-03-11T19:54:00.000-05:002009-03-11T19:54:00.000-05:00Wonderful travelogue, with great pics. And the mumu was cutecute.

I still have my tap dance tutu.
