Google Earth Stars

Ran across this bit of oddness on a page featuring all kinds of cool stuff found through Google Earth. 10 acres! As if making a maze isn't hard enough without making it look like this.

Here's one that's near Austin, and I blogged it a couple of years ago. I've seen this one from an airplane. It's a weird sight. A man has written his name using trees. NASA uses it as a measurement device! I guess it's more linear than Oprah.

Hmm... makes me think of starting to do such portraits around town... definitely a way to get artistic attention.

Not having ever made anything like this, I would guess curves, especially since they aren't geometric shapes and also need to resemble a person.

I don't know what kind of plants the Oprah is made of. It is Arizona, so that would limit it somewhat.

I'd like to say you could get lost in her eyes, but it looks like her hair is where a person would get lost! ;-)

"More linear than Oprah"! Ha! Made me laugh. Thanks, Blueberry.
