Rain - infinity

How many days of rain have we had? This report says Texas had 44 days straight back on July 6th, but of course, it's a pretty big place. Duh. I don't know how many we've had here in Austin, it's in that ballpark. (Someone out there is keeping track.) It's just one rainy day after the next. Forecast Today: rain. Saturday: rain. Sunday: rain. Extended forecast -- take a guess. They think it will clear up next week... I hate to mention it but they said that last week and the week before too. The air is like soup but the skeeters are loving it.

Enjoy the vid. It's nearly 10 minutes long, but if you're down here you can't go out and play anyway.

Banging my head! We are officially in a SEVERE drought - day after day of no rain or very little and here you are with the gully washers. There should be some way we could control these things, but it's just weather.

I feel for ya. Sounds like Texas is going to go the way of the Wicked Witch of the West, just melt into a puddle and seep into Mexico.

We are all playing musical summers. We had our drought and 2 months of hundred degree temps and no rain last year (actually more normal for us), now some folks up north are getting a taste of that while we sample a tropical rainforest.

I guess it's a good way of taking a trip and never leaving the farm. Next thing, a beach is going to show up here! Wheee!

yes... I know there's a beach a few hundred miles from Austin, but I think that one is going to get closer.

I've been watching your rain forecasts. I sure hope it's gone come mid September! It's been very dry here, much more than usual. Many, many sunny weeks in a row, then an hour of sprinkles, not enough to keep the grass green. I don't water so my grass is brown right now.
