This is the main party, and looks like a good one with special guests Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Luci Baines Johnson. The Long Center is a wonderful place with incredible acoustics, but they are fussy about food and drinks in the auditorium itself, so you will not be able to dull the McCain pain with tasty beverages unless you do it from the lobby. Also the great acoustics will muffle your screams. RSVP at Turn Texas Blue.
The Alamo Drafthouse, S. Lamar, will be showing it on the big screen while you enjoy as much food and drink as you can afford. I imagine we will probably just stay home and keep the cats company. Always a good option.
