That's almost as good as the story I heard told long ago about a teenaged girl who had an unusually large pimple on her forehead. Against conventional wisdom, she decided to eradicate the zit by popping it. As she squeezed the pimple, it burst open with dozens of tiny spiders spewing out and crawling all over her face. Apparently, she was so freaked out that she had to be hospitalized in the mental ward of a local hospital.
Gross, eh?
Now, I have no idea if this story is true, but I just remember it being told to me many years ago. Funny how some things stick with you through the years, even something as disgusting as that!

Uuuughhh!!!! I had to look that one up on Snopes. 8 legs is just too many. I have to draw the line somewhere. :-P

Maybe it's because we percieve them as "sneaky", but we are confusing "sneaky" with "hard to see".
