My Sam the Wonder Cat (16 pound diabetic Maine Coon fellow) hangs out on the screened in porch at will and absolutely loves it! He holds court with all the neighborhood cats who all come into my back yard to commune with their pal. It's hilarious. I had the opportunity to observe this interaction whilst home recuperating from some minor surgery last week. Sam is like an Emperor receiving supplicants!
Long live the screened porch! Jax is a rescued alley cat who had to deal with all sorts of hazards outside, and he has NO desire to venture out there again. He loves the safety of the screen.
[wishing he was little more lean - the diet should help] I've seen him with TWO gecko tails sticking out of his mouth. Cats!!! Such natural-born killers. Disgusting sometimes.
We may as well put a guitar on him. He likes makin' da noise. ;-) Good dancer too.

He looks like a lean, mean, gecko killin' machine!
My first thought was how easy it would be to photoshop a guitar in front so your cat would look like a musicat.
