Glad this has been posted. You may have read Jim Hightower's column or even his books, maybe heard him the radio. He's got some great zingers in here, one-liners that he probably uses all the time, and even if he does this shit doesn't get old. Sometimes comedy is the best way to get a message across.
Rick Perry gets one of the longest boooooos I've heard (and you can also hear a couple of pro-Perry hecklers during that but other than that we didn't hear a peep out of them).

I think every state has its share of treasures and nutjobs. Every time I go to a rally like that, I always think "Molly Ivins would have been here."
