I've been noticing a real upsurge in one particular topic in my Spam folder, and that is watches. Now, I realize that most people want to lose weight, get rich and have 3 inches added to their penis, but what's with the watches? Do people really want those or are they harder to get rid of these days? Aren't most people just using their phones as a timepiece? The new pocketwatch.

I haven't worn a watch in years, well before I had a cell phone to keep track of time. We're pretty much surrounded by clocks in all kinds of devices, though they all rarely read the same time. As you point out, it is odd that I've also seen more spam for watches lately, in a time when we need watches less. Maybe the spammers have simply figured out that it's easier to make a cheap watch that at least works than it is to make a penis 3 inches longer.
I'm waiting for the email that touts a treatment that makes your penis so big,you can wear a wristwatch on it!
Sometimes they just write themselves!
"excuse me,do you have the time"?
"Yeah...just a sec...""Zzzzippp"!
Viagrolex! A real pocketwatch! If you've got the money, I've got the time. heh heh.
Now i can't stop laughing here because I'm not just picturing that, I'm thinking of the documentary "Yes Men". They actually came up with something that inflated a few feet out of the "fly" area of a specially designed suit, and had a computer monitor on it so you could look at it hands-free. It was a joke but they were presenting it as a serious product to these corporations. It was a hoot.
