A few years ago I had a painting assignment. I was told to find an organic item to use as a stamp. The stamp was to be brought into class with a finished art product. The art product had to incorporate a stamping or stampings of our organic item. We were to present the finished product to the class for a critique. The class was supposed to guess the organic object used. --- Stan Murmur
I didn't want to spoil the surprise (which this link will do), but if you're not familiar with this, it's fun to guess at it before looking at the answer. I discovered this art several years ago, and apparently the artist has been in the news lately. Here's his website with all sorts of coverage of his painting methods. Be sure and click on the gallery for some very interesting pieces created with a bare minimum of... er... brushes.

Ha HAAA!!!
I guessed that first, then thought "nooo..." LOL!
Wonder if that's a hint to trust my gut more in the new year.
Speakin' of which, Happy and Healthy to you and yours, Blueberry!
Oh, now that's rich. Butt brushes. Hmmmmmm. Just gotta make sure that pain is lead-free, huh?
And HAPPY NEW YEAR, Blueberry.
Charming. And definitely original.
Beats any white-painted canvas!
And to think of all the money I spend on sable brushes!!!
I was close, actually. My guess was lips, or a woman's genitalia.
Would have helped if we knew the dimensions of the masterpiece, Eh?
I hope - for this guy's sake - he did not use Cadmium Red for this painting......
* HAPPY 2007!!! *
I think my newly posted beginning-of-a-painting kinda looks butt-inspired...
...only I painted it last night, before I saw your post.
Coincidence?
BTW, as of right now, and from the given choices, Edwards.
HNY!
Geez, I don't have a slightest what what it is until I read the link. This is so artistic, creative and unique! Nice one!
