With this election getting closer, people are getting a little panicky, and the incidence of yard-sign stealing or vandalizing has gone up. This woman in Austin, after losing a yard sign, decided to paint her lawn. Story here, with video.We wouldn't be able to do that, since we have taken out almost all the grass. :-)

I loved this. Saw it somewhere on my endless day of news watching.
That is GREAT! I have to share that with my sister. Their original Obama sign was not only stolen, but, REPLACED with a McPain-Wailin' sign! Can you imagine the grits it would take to do that? Only in Nashville. So she made a small donation and got herself a staked-in, 4x8 model as big as my living room couch. But she probably would have had more fun painting her grass.
