Don't believe everything you read.

...especially when it comes to truth in advertising. You know those sealed plastic bags of baby spinach, mixed greens, etc. that say "Washed and Ready to Eat"? Well of course, I always wash it anyway, you probably do too. Well, I found a guy who looked a whole lot like this one in a bag of spinach. I don't think he ate much, probably nothing at all. Poor thing, dead of course. Anyway -- the bug theme continues.

Picture from here.

Poor little dude. I'm a sucker for any living thing. I must have been some sort of little animal or bug in my last life.

Same here - or more like it, I think I am at bug-level in this life.

I'd vote for a grasshopper if he (or she) were running against most Republicans I can think of. ;-)

Well I do enjoy bugging the hell out of the administration while they bug our phones.

For the record, those bags of salad are usually, nearly always, washed not in water but chlorine. Tests show high residues. It's always best to wash your salad, however you get it, and best to avoid the bags and do things the old-fashioned way: ie chop, dice, slice, etc. x

Chlorine, now that's even more un-appetizing than this poor little critter.
