Are you kidding? where was this ad? Way back I worked in advertising for about 2 years. Bad choice, very bad choice. Shows major lack of creativity from the Ad Department.
It's funny because while companies keep trying to move the Christmas season earlier and earlier, research shows consumers keep delaying their purchases hoping for deals. The Friday after Thanksgiving isn't even the busiest shopping day anymore. So are retailers really getting much bang for the buck with these early ads?
I stopped in Walgreens for the first time in months yesterday and they had Halloween decorations out. I thought that was bad enough!
Holy Cripe! That's outrageous! The new company I'm with uses Office Depot. I have a return to make and I think I'll use the opportunity to complain about the Web site. I'm sure I won't be the only one.
I'd like to think it was a mistake, but it is ridiculous how much earlier it starts every year. Target is full of xmas decorations before Halloween, so retail starting to hit us before Labor Day isn't far off that mark.

It's not even an ad. It's the Office Depot home page.

Nutjobs.

Today when I visit their site, it looks normal again, no Holiday Shopping splash with red gift bows.
(maybe someone already complained)
It had to be a mistake. Tell me it was just a mistake.
