Disturbing company-wide memo of the day

To: allstaff

The refrigerator on the first floor is a FOOD ONLY fridge. DO NOT place samples to be sent out for chemical analysis in a “food only” fridge.

The box has been removed and placed on the top of the file cabinet directly across from the fridge. Since the samples are being sent out to be tested for Arsenic, it is unimaginable that someone would place bottles that have the potential of arsenic content in a fridge with FOOD!

Please retrieve them.

Happy Monday!!

I wonder if it's OK to put Arse-Snickerdoodles in the fridge? Oh wait... those are ass-cookies. No ass-cookies allowed either.

I have wondered from time to time if you work in a building where I go. Now I'm kinda hoping not. Dare I ask what is being tested for the presence of arsenic? Maybe you can answer my arnica question. I've heard a side effect of using it is that one builds up arsenic in the system over time with use. I used to love the stuff for bruises, but I have managed without since I heard this.

FB: I work with geologists so I imagine the samples were rocks or dirt or something like that. Don't know what arnica is. Sounds risky.

(I'm not a geologist myself, I'm a "support person")

Not sure whether arsenic is any more deadly that some of what passes for "food objects" in corporate refrigerators.

YIKES!! Who would mingle food and arsenic-contaminated rocks?? Egad! Gives a whole new definition to rock candy.
I may be wrong, but isn't arnica the herbal ingredient in a rubbing lotion for sore muscles or bruises?

I suppose labeling something as "arsenic" would be a way of keeping other people's grubby paws off your peach pie... but not a very smart way.

And yes, some of that stuff in there is toxic, but labeled as "potato salad"
