A birthday coincidence today: Bela Lugosi (1882), the horror actor who ended up doing Ed Wood movies during a career spiral (and died during the filming of a movie considered by many to be the worst movie ever made: Plan 9 From Outer Space), and Martin Landau (1934), the actor who portrayed him wonderfully doing that very thing (and won an Oscar) in the movie Ed Wood. (1994).

I never would have guessed .. even in a bad movie, Martin Landau is always a welcome sight to me .. he should work more often!
I actually think that Ed Wood is a good movie, I thought Johnny Depp and all did a great job.
I also enjoy watching Ed Wood's really bad movies, they are so laughably bad. I'm a MST3K fan, and would have to give the worst movie ever award to "Manos, the Hands of Fate".
